How to get enough Vitamin D during Isolation.

I am fond of good quality oil Vitamin D spays such as these during winter, especially now that we are far less out and about.
.
Since our main source of Vitamin D is sunlight, during Melbourne winter, in addition to strict stage 4 restrictions means realistically, some of us may not be getting sufficient amounts at the moment.
.
.
Being housebound in addition to minimal exposure to the sun means getting 400IU a day can be challenging. Children (200IU/day) and elderly (600IU/day) should also be considered, especially during the current circumstances. Many children are currently not playing outside, walking and riding to school and spend a lot of time in their technology.
.
.
Where possible, try and get some fresh air and sunshine , whether it is gardening in your back yard, going for your 1 hour exercise walk a day, or simply enjoying a cuppa in your balcony. There are small amounts of Vitamin D in fish and eggs and UV-irradiated mushrooms (yeah- that’s a thing!!) .

How does Vitamin D assist our health? A better question would be- where isn’t it needed in our body !?From keeping our muscles and bones healthy, to cardiovascular, immune, respiratory, neurological, metabolic benefits , as well as skin conditions…
